    Scam Prevention Guide

Post by Genesis on 3rd November 2011, 3:14 pm

Dicing is fun but sometimes you will see undesirable behavior in our dicing community.

There are certain fool-proof ways to prevent all scams.

    1. Always confirm your bet, even if it's 100k.

You do this on the second trade screen when you are about to accept the trade. You can say "Dice Genesis, Confirm" in friend chat. If you trade the real host, the host will reply "Confirm, your name". If you traded a fake host however, the real host will say "This is not me, do not accept!".

    2. Add all impostors to your ignore list, add all hosts to friend list.

Example of impostor are D1ce Genesis, Wit Dice Genesis etc. Once you have added them to ignore, put trade to friends. This way, all impostors will not be able to trade you.

    3. Remember that our hosts need to take down your names and pot at second trade window? If the trade went on quite quickly, most probably, you're trading a fake. Do double check your trades at all time!

    4. And please check if that host have any proper forums or clan going on. If that host is operating by himself without any forums or rule backing him out, be careful as he will most likely scam you once the pot reaches a high amount.

Remember these tips and happy dicing! Very Happy

seeing if the person declines or not is a good way to see if the better scams or not =.= I really agree.

Lol, before when I used to host on another fc, like every third person said they were vidding. IDC if they were vidding or not, I am/was always legit. Laughing Whether or not they were, I will never know.

Last time when i was hosting this guy called 100k(wager)
so then I accepted everything then he accepted so i thought i got the 100k
but When i checked on the details by going up i saw that he actually didn't accept
and repeated this process to make 400k off of me, I was really mad and I told him
why would you scam a host and he said what scam and he tried to continuously repeat
the trick he was doing so i just kicked him out of the fc.

(There were many people spamming "Horse game x3" etc you know and its really loud and noisy
    and spammy in G.E .. )

Hope this helped you guys NOT get SCAMMED by people who BET

I always switch to my trade channel when trading, firstly to check for scammers who decline and secondly to see if the trader has talked.
