well you are a common better it seems (got me off 2mill+ last night). So its understandable why he would accept you, also maybe it was the range in ranks he was looking for!

Ooo I want a rank! I have 50+ posts but unfortunately no reputation points. If you buy a rank will it then be cheaper to upgrade the rank or is it same price?

I'm not sure what BA has in mind, but I think that you may be able to lock in the rate to prevent yourself from paying more that what it is now

An upgrade is the same price, only the price you paid is subtracted from the rank price you want. For example, if you buy sargent for 1m, you can buy the next ranks for 1m less
