RuneCrafting Guide for F2P

Hey guys. Well , alot of us know that runecrafting is a time consuming thing. I too , feel that way. Unfortunately, in F2P , there is no "fast" or "easy" way.
It takes time. If you are patient enough , you can earn ALOT of money using runecrafting. So, lets start the guide!

------ Air Runes ( 1 - 20 ) -----
The first few levels are not really time consuming. It's fast and easy.
I recommend buying rune essence in bulk. Like buy 5000.
For me, i did water runes from 1-20. But, air runes are more better in moneywise.
So , the air altar is near the varrok bank, so it's fast.

------ Body Runes ( 20 - 99 ) ----
Okay , now is the time when runecrafting starts to get time consuming.
Since this is a F2P guide , body runes are the last runes that F2P players can make.
Well , if you do body runes , there won't be alot of profit if you buy the rune essence from GE. But in F2P, body runes gives the most highest xp. 210 xp for one full inventory which is 26.5 for one body rune.

---- Great Orb Project ( Runecrafting Guild --- Level 50 rc ) ----
Okay , as far as i've heard, great orb project can earn you alot of money. I have not tried it yet. Still trying to get to 50 rc but it takes so damn long.
I have no idea of how to explain the game. But you can try youtube ! (:

I know of some people who log into their accounts more than one time and use them as runners. It's risky as people can report you. If you want , you can try it

GOP (great orb project), is a F2P mini-game. You get tokens from which you can redeem items from the which at runecrafting guild. If you want money get the water talismens and you make around 120k/h with your tokens.

From what I recall, it doesn't it just helps you earn things which makes your rcing a little bit easier. ex: tele things

I've spent like 5 hours in the rc guild thing. IT SUCKED. But i got enough tokens for my self to buy the full suit of rc cloths!!!! Once at 50 rune crafting you can play the rest orb project and once played you will receive an amount of tokens and rune essence each round. Because you are playing around alters you may use the rune essence when you come across the alter of you pre feral. There is no bank here. With tokens you can buy, Rune crafting armor. The armor doesn't give you a rc boost un less you have the expensive one costing 15,000 tokens a piece and all put together give you a very small bonus, but it might be worth hours in time seeing as though how slow rcing is. You can also but a talisman staff. Its expensive 10,000 tokens but is cool because with if you can wear the full rc costume consisting of:
Head: 15,000 token Runecrafting hat.
Weapon: 10,000 token Talsiman staff.
Body: 15,000 token Runecrafting robe.
Legs: 15,000 token Runecrafting Skirt.
Gloves: 75+ FoG Tokens Runecrafting gloves (air,water,earth,fire)
Ring: Completed all medium tasks in lumbridge/draynor Lumbridge Explorer ring 2.
Cape: 99 runecrafting, Runecrafting skill cape.

As for boot, ammy and shield. I don't think there is anything in particular. I wish you all a more than boring rune crafting experience, guarantied!!

So you can bring runes along. On average how many tokens do you get per round. The rounds take quite a while from what I remember. Also, I definately recommend rc gloves from FOG because it makes everything faster.

Btw can i'll ask what's good for mining when u are up to lvl90++....?

At 90+ you should mine runite as it is probably the best way to make money in f2p. If you want to powermine, you should stick to iron ore. I hope this helps

Btw, foo, bordy, This is runescafting, not mining!

Depending on if you win the rune crafting game in f2p you can get a total of 1000 tokens max for winning each alter, and 750 tokens for f2p (reason is because f2p doesn't have all the alters like nature alter.) It is HARD and CONFUSING!! So watch out. And the min, I think is about 100-200 token, but i forgot. If you leave before the game is done (if you lagg out, this happens to me a lot.) You will not be able to get any tokens and also you will not be able to join a new game for 5 minutes. Inactivity also kicks you.

Because there is not bank there you will not be able to rune craft easier here. After a round depending on how good your team did (score difference). You will get an amount of rune essence to craft, this way of getting xp is NOT faster than normal rune crafting. Also rune crafting gloves make all the difference. But they are annoying to obtain, just like the tokens in rune crafting guild.

The amount of tokens you get from one game of GOP varies if you win, lose oe tie. I do not remember the exact number but its enough to buy 6 water talismons (with remainders excluded.)

I recommend all of you if you are gna rc , once you are level 30 rc, go to fog
and play , once you have 75 tokens, buy earth rcing gloves.
From 168++ xp per inventory , it becomes 364 xp per inventory although it only last for 1000 essence so yeah

Today I crafted about 1200 rune essence. I did this on my account "wab22" he is now 65 rune crafting (46k till 66). My profit was...

Rune essence bought, 1174 for a total of 52,500 coins (should be around 36k but I just needed the essence FAST!)
Air runes made, 7,669 for a total of 130,373 coins.
Experience received, about 6,000

Conclusion, I could earn about 100,000 coins! The time it took, idk not too long.

This isn't actally a good way to make money. There are plenty of things that make more profit. Also, rcing is kind of boring, but I mean if you enjo, then continue to do it

That rc lvl is actually pretty high for f2p

Well think about it. You are a noob with 30k. And you can turn that into 130k in an hour. It is not bad if you can't advertise or have Catskills that give that good money at the same speed.

To use the rc guild to level you should use all your tokens on buying body rune teletabs this means that you will not have to run just tele to the altar. A lot faster rcing!!!

Is it members or non members ? The teletabs.

altar teletabs are f2p i believe!
